1. breakfast with Yvonne... it's so good to have such a good friend out here :)
2. the gorgeous sunshine, blue skies, stunning mountains... such a beautiful day!
3. figuring out how comfortable a night gown is.... why have i never worn one before?!
4. tv night - SURVIVOR!!! 30 ROCK!!! THE OFFICE!!!

1. picking up painting again today.... it's been a while

So yesterday I "forgot to be thankful" lol, so today I will be extra thankful :)

1. a nice date with the love of my life
2. being able to purchase the things we need for baby
3. Brian getting called in for extra work
4. being married to a man who makes me laugh

8. our friends Dani and Matt who are celebrating 1 year of marriage

Why I am thankful...

Today is another great day to be thankful :) here's my 5

1. although they ache b/c of my ginormous belly I am so thankful for my legs that get me to where I need to go.
2. the sunshine that totally changes vancouverites... it's like we're a different city when the sun is out!
3. clean drinking water that is constantly accessible to me.
4. my family and the town of Yellow Grass who are able to love on and support my cousin Erin in this hard time... I'm SO thankful that she has that whole towns' support and doesn't have to face cancer on her own.
5. the ability to communicate so easily with friends and family through facebook, blogs, email, skype, texting, calling... i SO take it for granted.

Why I am thankful...

About a year ago Meryl and I decided it would be a beneficial idea to tell each other 5 things we were thankful for each day, having no parameters other than, we could not repeat the previous 2 days or copy the other persons. It was going pretty well for a bit and then like many things in life it got pushed to the side and did not happen as much as we would have wanted it to.
Since the birth of our child is coming soon I thought it would be something we would try to begin again and hopefully continue on for a long period of time. I thought if we started a blog maybe it would inspire us to remember and perhaps inspire others to be a part of our blog called "Thankful." We welcome you to join the journey if you want :)
